Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Since being on my raw food diet, I believe I'm finding out what foods my body reacts badly to - dairy being one.  I usually find that my nose gets stuffy - so I go from clear breathing through my nostrils to one of them being stuffed up.  It's not mucus - I believe it's inflammation.

So in place of animal milk I've been using almond milk, mostly in my smoothies.  And seeing as I have very little time to make fresh almond milk (i'm a mom and a business owner) I use the boxed, store bought kind.  But lately I've been getting the stuffy nose reaction after my smoothies.  I suspect it's the almond milk - or maybe just a mild cold (tis the season).

So I'm curious to know what other's opinions are regarding the store bought, boxed almond milk.  Good?  Bad?

store bought almonds milk is made from pasteurized almonds, that means the alive nutrition has been killed. A friend of mine get sick from it. I'd not touch it. I'd buy my fresh almonds from sources that don't put radiation in them and don't heat them whatsoever. There are a few sources on the net, I don't remember it right now but for ex. Dan Mc Donnalds has a good source.
