Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
My sister-in-law was told a week ago that she has Stage 3 plasma cell myeloma with some kidney impairment. She is totally devastated. We all are. Has anybody had any experience with this? Her kidneys are "weak", and they want to start chemo now! I am SO worried for her. I researched Suzanne Somers book who had several alternative therapy doctors, but who to pick is the frustration.
One man was given 3 months to live. 3 months later, his original doctor said the multiple myeloma was gone. But, can we trust these people? Of course, they want BIG BIG BUCKS~~$24,000 to $27,000 for a 3 week stay! I'm shocked, because they ask for CASH, not credit cards even. I feel so depressed for Sallie & my brother & their family! What can she do? Her doctor has starts her on chemo March 5th, Monday, due to the worry about her kidneys.
It seems everybody is in it for the "buck", you know? Suzanne Sommers doesn't care, because she is loaded financially, but middle class & poor are NOT. And, insurance doesn't cover that kind of care anyway. We are so confused and angry. Dr. Forsythe refuses to talk to anyone on the phone, so it costs $3,500 and a trip to his office (5 hours) just to talk to HIM. Then, we have Mexico, and they want $27,000 UP FRONT CASH. Money grubbers! I can't stand them.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'll remember your sister in law in prayers. The only thing I have ever heard that has helped people to beat cancer naturally is to eat only raw vegetables and fruits and to juice, and to keep doing this. Keep us posted.
Permalink Reply by Rachael on March 3, 2012 at 11:24pm Get Gerson's Books and do it yourself. Who says you need to pay someone else to tell you how to do it?! :)
Spend your time instead of money and hopefully you can find the answers you are looking for. If I were her, I would not do Chemo. I would eat all raw fruits and vegetables, get LOTS of sleep and water, be good to myself, and research my ass off.
I really want to extend my thoughts and prayers to you all.
Permalink Reply by Laura P. on March 4, 2012 at 9:05pm My brother is now looking at Gerson Therapy, but I told him also about Dr. Gonzalez in New York. It seems he's had a lot of success. But, Sallie has to be helped to the bathroom (severe decline in just 2 months) because of her balance not being steady. We just can't believe it! How could this happen so soon? It is just simply incredulous. I am beside myself with all the CHOICES in alternative therapies. It's a maze. Thanks for the prayers. Sallie really needs them. She has kidney impairment and will get her first dose of chemo on Monday, tomorrow. I'm so scared for her!
She is on potent vitamins & minerals. She is juicing now, too. Is the Vitamix machine ok for that??
Yes, juicing in the vitamix helps. She will get the juice and the pulp in the vitamix. We are remembering all of you in our prayers. Keep us posted. Okay?
Permalink Reply by Maria D. on March 4, 2012 at 9:16pm I'm so sorry to hear this news. Cancer is scarey and such a beast. If she's choosing to do chemo then perhaps she can use alternative choices to complement the treatment. There are some oncologists who are willing to really work with their patients. All you have to do is ask. :-) I'll keep you all in my thoughts and wish her success with her treatment.
Kris Carr has a site called "my crazy sexy cancer" and was told she had inoperable cancer and is still survivg well.
Her approach is very accessible. All the best to you and the family.
I trust Brian Clement and Co. at the Hippocrates Health Intstitute in Florida. Ann Wigmore founded this place years ago and Clement and his dr. wife have been running it for years. Check out their website. Not cheap, for sure, but well known and quite good.
Blessings on your family, expecially Sallie!
Permalink Reply by Laura P. on March 7, 2012 at 11:29pm Thanks HepCWoman! Thanks. I just pray for Sallie that the drugs will reverse her kidney impairment. If that is successful, we have HOPE, real hope...
I cannot wait for the world that is coming that is based on love not money!
Dr Schultz I know has an "incurables" program. Look him up but I dont know much about him or his track record.
I do feel as he does, the standard treatments are what people die from, not the cancer.
I hope you find a way to save her.
