Actually I have switched to RAW to help reverse the arthritis - whichever it is? Does anyone out there have experience with arthritis and going RAW and having desired results??

I have terrible arthritis in my hands and since I have gone raw I seem to have stopped the progression of it. It was fusing my finger joints one by one - I have two of my finger joints fused but since I have been on raw the fusion seems to have slowed down and there is a lot less pain. If I cheat though I sure feel it!!!

My 13 yr old was just diagnosed w/ rheumatoid arthritis and I am in the process of being diagnosed with some sort of systemic autoimmune inflamatory arthritis after yrs of Dr's thinking it was possibly early multiple sclerosis. So I too am interested in hearing others experiences. I know if I eat a high raw gluten free diet a lot of my systemic inflamation disapears and my pain is decreased and with in only a few days. I had my daughter eat that and after a week she didn't feel any better and went back to her old eatting habits. She eats better than all of her friends with eatting more greens and veggies than they do, but she has removed the meat from her diet and replaced it with extra pastas, rice and tofu.

Thanks for replying to my post. Do you eat a low fat raw or just RAW to get the results you get?? So when you cheat do you mean back to SAD diet period or some specific food that is a problem?

Thanks for your reply. Have you listened to any of the Utube videos with Dr Morse? Last night I stayed up WAY past bedtime listening to one after another of his videos. I ran into one of his videos here at the Rehab in another room - I think it was in the Loo. But you can just google for Dr Morse and find him. He does talk about Arthritis and the underlying causes etc. It is sounding like he is very big into detoxing. My plan is to listen to ALL his videos.

I eat a low fat raw diet for the best results. I find that my problem occurs mostly when I add anything with sugar into my diet. If I go back to the "normal" way of eating then the pain becomes nearly unbearable and the joints in my fingers just "freeze". Over the years I have been able to work out what works for my body and I think that is the key - through trial and error you just need to work out what works for you and your body and what doesn't.
