I have HEARD that one of the benefits of  using Far Infrared Saunas is the disappearance of cellulite. Would love to know if other people have experienced this.

you can rub coffe on the cellulite areas and put an algae mask, this help with the apperance, you can also try himalayan salt.  Oat meal works as a deep cleansing so carefull with the use on face mask, is not for every skin and not for more than once a week in acne and oily skin.  Thats why with papaya or honey does wonderful things because of the enzymes of papaya and the hydrating properties in honey. Honey also regenerate.

I just did a great mask!  Put two tablespoons of papaya and the same of oatmeal and puree.  Put on face for 10 minutes and rinse.  Fab!

Samantha, Natural Causes of Large Pores
Genetics, age and sun damage all play a factor in pore size. You will naturally have large pores if you are born with oily or combination skin. Excessive oil production makes pores look larger. As you age, skin loses suppleness, regardless of skin type, and pores appear enlarged as a result. The sun has a similar effect. Prolonged sun exposure weakens skin's collagen, and the walls of pores sag as they lose elasticity.

Skin Care
Blackheads, simply old sebum or oil collected in pores, are also the culprit of enlarged pores. When the yellowish sebum builds up, it oxidizes and turns black. These black plugs or open comedones make your pores appear larger in size. Over-cleaning your skin encourages oil production and increases the chance of having clogged pores.

Keep You Pores Clear
Clean, empty pores appear tighter and smaller. To empty your pores, use a blackhead extractor. When used correctly, the rounded loops on those extractors safely squeeze out blackheads without harming your skin. Commercial pore strips work just as well if you are afraid of aggravating your skin. Immediately after your first treatment, your pores will look like empty craters. Your skin will re-adjust and the pores will look smaller in time. Exfoliate your skin once in a while to clear dead skins cells away from pore openings.

Sorry, that was a response to Samantha... and Lisa, the mix is a great exfoliator too!

I don't know what causes large pores.  However, I've noticed that cleansing my face with a mix of baking soda & water certainly shrinks them.  I started applying a layer of virgin coconut oil first before the baking soda cleanse just for a little more moisture and it's perfect for me.  Coconut oil is a good antibacterial so it could genuinely help clear up black heads as well...

Can anyone tell me what causes large pores and how to shrink them? Also - is it simply an issue with not consuming enough foods and liquids that are cleaning that causes all these tiny blackheads on many areas of my face? Not enough water? Please tell me if this is the right place to be asking and if not I'll move my question elsewhere! THANKS!!
