I am going to make some up for when I am traveling....

I think it is a great idea for camping, etc...

Maybe I will love it soo much I will use it even more.

I recall using some product like this when I was a teen.

I have heard of people going no shampoo....this sounds like a great way to do it!

LIGHTER HAIR SHADES

1/2 cup natural baking soda

1/2 cup organic corn starch

12 drops favorite essential oil

DARKER HAIR SHADES

1/2 cup natural baking soda

1/2 cup organic corn starch

3 tablespoons cocoa

(if hair is really dark, add more cocoa and subtract same amount of baking soda)

12 drops favorite essential oil

DIRECTIONS

Place ingredients into a mini blender and mix 1 minute.  Remove and place in a large sugar shaker to store.

NOTES

~Our favorite oils to use are peppermint or wild orange as they are both invigorating.

~Also, if you have a corn allergy, omit the cornstarch and replace with the same amount of baking soda.

USAGE

Use as needed by leaning over a sink and shaking onto hair, starting around the hairline.  Massage into hair and re-apply where needed.  Work into hair and style.
