I had no idea about Mutsu apples, so just used some small Gala.
Hot Emerald Juice
This turns out a gorgeous color green - perfect for St. Patty's Day!
2 big handfuls of spinach
a few basil leaves
1 inch ginger (or more if you can handle it!)
Juice it all, interspersing the spinach and basil with cucumber slices to help move them through. Clean and spicy!
My favorite starter in the morning is Grapefruit, beet, and carrot juice. Beautiful color. Like having dessert for breakfast.

Push it all through your juicer and drink over ice in a sophisticated mason jar ;- )

Citrus Fruit Juice Recipe
Makes 1 serving
2. Add juice to a glass.
3. Add 2 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel for more health benefits.
4. Drink and enjoy your morning!
My friend Lauren introduced me to a beverage we call "Belly Juice." It is simple to make, and drinking it is an excellent way to begin one's day. The ingredients are turmeric, ginger, cayenne, and black pepper mixed into water (either hot or cold). I've found it best to mix the ingredients in boiling water, then to refrigerate so as to enjoy cold later. I typically make it in bulk, enough for a week's enjoyment at a time. Six ounces of this each morning wakes up my digestive system, and enables better "metabolization" throughout the day. Mmmm!
