Debbie, My daughter just married a Lopez. Maybe we're related. :)Yes, coffee is my major downfall. I guess if that's the worst I can do then I'm no doing so bad. I really would like to cut back but do need that first thing in the morning jolt! I like the half calf myself. I may go back to that. Thanks

Hi Maggie, I too grew up drink cafesito since I was a little girl. It have tried to quick coffee and had a really hard time. I only have 1-2 cups in am. Cold turkey didn't work so I started doing half caf and now do decaf. This way I am still off the caffeine.

I am highly addicted to coffee. It's in my blood. I am Mexican-American and started drinking it at age 10. I love the taste but would love to start the day with something else. Anyone got any ideas? Love tea as well but sure do love that high I get from caffeine. :( Is coffee really all that bad for our bodies? I have 1-2 cups a day.

REAL JUICE DAILY

Penni has been passionate about juicing for over 25 years and over the course of the last couple of decades has read volumes of material on the topic and has studied under leaders in the holistic health field on the topic of juicing, juice fasting, juice feasting, cleansing and natural health.  All of the research and personal experience has made a significant impact on Penni's understanding and enthusiasm about the topic.

The one common denominator between authors and health experts from many differing backgrounds is that they typically agree that juicing is a superior way to get optimum nutrition into one’s body. Fresh juices, blended drinks and the highly charged, mineralized and alkaline water they contain can repair, protect, energize, improve and heal the body.

Real Juice Daily is the complete story of Penni's 3 month juice feast. The nearly 150 pages of information has been taken directly from her personal daily journal and is complete with photographs, recipes and daily reflections. In the digital book, Penni shares the reasoning behind why she decided to undertake such a lengthy liquid commitment, how she did it and all of the intimate and juicy details that surrounded her life during the time.

Real Juice Daily is a helpful guide and inspiration for anyone considering a juice feast, fast or if one simply desires to add more delicious, healing juice into their daily routine.

Real Juice Daily is available for purchase through Paypal for $19.99

Has anyone ever used the strained almonds and/or vegetable and fruit fiber from their blended favorites and used as a scrub for your skin? This morning I used the strained almonds from my nut milk and also the strained green vegetable concoction I had this morning for breakfasr to cleanse my skin in the shower.  Is this okay to do?

@ Adam--juice it!  A little goes a long way though.  Too much beet and your liver may make you nauseated because it is so detoxifying.  I like to mix it with O.J. or apple juice with ginger.  I also like it julienned in salads and and wraps.  Be advised it will turn everything pink!  Including your hands and your counter if you don't wear something to protect them.  Beets are yummy!  Just beet it!
