Real Food Rehab

No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!

This is a healthy raw alternative to scrambled eggs. The temph isn't raw, but has the properties of raw since it's fermented.

1 package of temph or firm tofu

1 each red and green pepper chopped small

1 onion diced or green onions if you prefer

1-2 garlics pressed

1 zucchini chopped (optional)

1/2 cup chopped parsley or cilantro (optional)

2-3 tbsp of aminos or nama shoyu

1/2 lime juiced if going with Mexican spice

your favorite spice to taste (I use one of either cajun, harissa, curry, tai curry, mexican or other. Use your imagination and change it whenever you like on the next batch)

Cayenne to taste (optional)

Crumble the temph or tofu. Mix all the other ingredients in and you're done. We sometimes cheat and eat them rolled up in a sprouted homemade tortilla that is lightly cooked. Or  you could put the scramble into a romaine leaf.

Another option is you could wrap them into a veggie wraps made from your favorite vegetables blended with psyllium husk added to thicken and hold it all together then dehydrated. I wouldn't go with flax or chia in these wraps as a binder if you're going to use them for the scramble, because of bad food combining. Nuts and seeds should not be mixed with grains, because it affects the digestibility of both.
