Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

HI, I am a still on the beginning side of the Raw type of eating. I have tried to sprout Adzuki beans, soak, rinse, rinse, put in sun, rinse put in sun....they stunk bad.  I bought alfalfa seeds and did the same routine, no sprouting.....

In regards to soaking nuts, I am not sure of the value to soaking the nuts. I have seen info on soaking raw sunflower seeds. What is this for and how would you eat soaked or sprouted nuts.

Sorry if this is confusing.  Help!

Hello, I am also sprouting adzuki beans  and they are sprouting fine. I first soaked them in water overnight and than rinsed them. But after that I put them in a dark place and kept on rinsing 2 or 3 times a day. After 2 days the first sprouts started growing. So especially in the beginning you should not put them in the sun , but in a dark place. Once they are grown to the length you want, you put them some hours in the light, At this moment they will become green. Nuts are soaked to activate the enzymes in the nuts.

greetings,
