Dear Penni:

You, your well loved Daddy, the extended family and friends enter my thoughts several times a day.  As you do, I lift you all up before the Holy Trinity in love and faith filled prayers.  My prayers during the day and when I wake during the night are joined with yours and all the beautiful faith-filled people that love you and feel your pain.   
At this time, with your Daddy, your beautiful spirit is showing others what it is to honor our parents.  .  .  .   Right up to the moment that silver cord,  tethered to our true homeland, draws up and home.

Sitting here in tears. Today is exactly 2 yrs since my dear mom passed and for some reason, I'm extremely emotional this year..remembering that night..me, alone with her, just waiting.. That was the night I raided the candy machine at 2am--and when the machine would not take my darn $5.00 bill, went desperately searching for change. I got a bag of potato chips and a bag of famous amos chocolate chip cookies, if I recall correctly, and sat beside her, stuffing my face. It was such an old, deep response - having to have comfort food, and only having what the machine had to offer. I wrote about that night on my blog journal..found it very cathartic. You may wish to do the same at some point. On Nov 20, at 2:20 am..Leatrice Robinson Kessler returned to God.  I had prayed that she would do me the honor of allowing me to be with her in that moment..and I was. I had hoped to get one last sense of recognition from her...that she knew I was there. I never did - although recently, someone got a very detailed message from my mom (a stranger)...and she thanked me for being with her...sorry for rambling..just a VERY emotional day for me here..and my heart goes out to you so deeply for your loss, for all that you've done for your Dad. I spent that Thanksgiving, flying her ashes home from Florida. ..so this time of year will forever tug at my heart...but we do move on..we grow..we find our joy again...as I know you will...please accept my deepest love  and kinship for you, Penni.....sending a great big hug your way..........xoxoxo God Bless.

Praying for you and your daddy right now, Penni... praying that God will give you strength, comfort, and peace through seeing you dad's transition to heaven. I wish I had the right words of comfort for you, because I know you there is a lot of exhaustion and heartache right now, but please know that I am sending prayers and love to you right now.

Dear heavenly Father, please be with Penni and her dad right now. In your mercy, dear Lord, please lift her up and grant her the grace to endure this very painful time as she supports her dad. Please ease her father's passing into your loving care, and provide Penni ith all of the love and support she needs right now. You are the great healer, you are our comfort, and in you, all things ultimately work together for good. Please let Penni and her father feel your presence and know that they are dearly loved and cared for right now. I ask this, Father, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Once again, here requesting your loving prayers directed for my dear daddy. I've been up all night with him, and I am sure many of you are familiar with the "death rattle." That is where we are & it is very hard for me to see him in this state. I have a tremendous Hospice support team, but the nights can feel scary, overwhelming and long. It won't be long now, and with your prayers and loving energy surrounding him, I know his transition will be blessed.

Have taken on a great challenge in my RAW endeavors.  Have been makings huge amounts of progress but still have a great way to go.  Really needing God's wisdom, insight, assistance and the direction of His Holy Spirit as I press forward.

Trying not to feel overwhelmed or out of my league.  Could really use support in prayer. 

Lord, let me have eyes to see and ears to see Your will through it all!
