Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
I have a friend who just can not be wrong. He believes he is absolutely right about everything and today we ventured into the debate on raw food VS SAD living.
Basically he wouldn't even begin to believe that cooking food destroys nutrients and proteins and he laughed in my face after the his statement about having to eat meat for protein when I told him spirulina has the highest protein content of anything on the planet.
He basically told me that any vegetarian is going to have bad teeth, be very gassy and scrawney due to his supposed lack of protein. When I tried to show him resources he told me they weren't "peer reviewed" and most likely just BS. It upset me that he was so closed minded.
He also told me that creatures that I proposed to be vegetarians (monkeys, gorillas, etc) were omnivores but frequently killed for food. I couldn't get a single thing through to him. Where/how can I find very credible resources that can help me in this debate with him?

The China Study by T. Colin Campbell is in the RFR Library...check it out!
Permalink Reply by Colton Colcleasure on May 23, 2012 at 5:37pm Definitely! I met a sweet couple a month ago who were looking into drug addiction/nutrition and they suggested that I give it a read but I forgot what it was called. Thank you for that.
Unfortunately, he probably won't accept it as credible. I was showing him some things out of "Integrative Nutrition" and he basically told me that just because it was published doesn't make Joshua Rosenthal credible, and even with his extensive background there's nothing to prove things in the book that he states. No book or random article (Even from a credible source) are gonna sway this guy. =/

Including his several books & the video Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days? He's a medical doctor & researcher, among other credentials.
