Hi guys sorry for too much info here, but i have been doing a juice fast and i am on day 5 and i haven't had a BM for 2 days now and i am a tad worried as i am usually regular as clockwork twice a day. Is this normal?? And are juice fast safe enough to do for long periods of time?? Thanks guys

What should move, if you just drink juice, there is no fiber to move. As long as you pee, wait until you eat solid stuff again.

Hmmm, I remember when I did mine last year and I didn't have a bowel movement in itself... but I was doing enemas... it was all liquid but on day 5 big clumps came out (obviously very old stuff releasing!)..... I think it would be normal... you aren't 'eating' solids... I hope that helps?

Like Marcel said, You don't have any fiber in your system to move things along.
How long are you planning on juice fasting for?
Remember that fiber is also important - It acts kind of like a broom clearing unwanted crap out of your colon, etc. If you are planning on longterm, perhaps a watermelon fast would be something to look into, as that way you are getting some fiber as well as all the ease of digestion (:

I would recommend a daily enema  or colema while juice fasting. The body will be wanting to detox itself and if regular BM have been affected, it may need your conscious support. You do not want the body to re-absorb any toxins sitting in the B while they are waiting to be evacuated. If this is not possible a little salted water can help move things along sometimes. Use high quality sea or himalayan salts.
