Fava Beans
Hi everyone, Saw this video on u-tube with Markus Rothkranz on fava beans.I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and was wondering if anyone that lives in this area might know where I can purchase these powerhouse beans. The farmers market I go to every week does not carry them and was also wondering if there has been any luck growing them here in this hot climate. Thanks and many blessings, Miriam

Thanks for posting this Miriam. It's one of those things I have been seeing at my produce market and passing by. Now I am curious to try them out. I was thinking of them like dry beans, which I don't eat, but now i realize they are fresh raw beans, which are very different and not usually starchy. I don't eat dry garbanzo beans, but was delighted to discover fresh young garbanzo beans which are sweet and delicious, a great snacking food.
Hope you find them in your area also. It's such fun to try out new foods. :))))
