DedeGirl, I've been using seeds from the Sprout House. They ship right away and are excellent quality.
Everything to do with indoor gardening and sprouting.
I am looking for info on sprouting at home and a good resource for the seeds.....anyone been down this road and have a direction for info? Thank you!
I live in Texas and as you can imagine, my family eats A LOT of tortillas, but I am dismayed by the crap that has been done to corn and consequently to my tortillas. What is the solution? I don't know....I try to buy organic as much as I can, but we are near retirement age and I have to be careful. I keep telling my husband that I would rather pay for organic and local than to pay a doctor. He is a meat eater, but when I make my green smoothies or juices in the morning, I make him a glass too. He drinks it...pretty much bitching the whole way, but drinks it nonetheless! It's scary, guys....and as I said, I don't know the solution, but I do believe that we need to keep an eye out for big corps like Monsanto and big pharma! JMO......

It's too bad so many things have been altered the point where we can't even hardly eat them anymore! Yeah it doesn't surprise me that there would be disagreements on food recommendations,.. I was expecting that actually.
Who is it mostly directed toward, people who are relatively aware of what healthier foods are etc., or the average person on the SAD diet?
Samantha, I read Wheat Belly not long ago. It's a scary what's been done to wheat, how it's been genetically altered and how that hugley impacts it's effect on the body. And, he is also talks not just about wheat, but gluten and other gluten grains.
I think it's an excellent read if one wants to dig into the issues surrounding modern wheat and gluten, but don't agree with his recommendations on what we should be eating.
