Hi Bette - I just checked on my end and everything looks to be the same as always. Not sure why you didn't see the image icon when creating your most recent blog. Could have just been a temporary glitch in the system, which can happen. Let me know if you continue to have problems.

I'm a really big fan of educating ourselves but then following our gut level instincts. I think people can get into bondage with food when they count every single calorie, however, it can be good to do for a short period of time just to get an idea of what a healthy intake actually looks and feels like. 

With the 80-10-10 appraoch, you will be encouraged to do some heavy carb loading and to eat LOTS of calories that will primarily come from eating sweet, calorie dense foods like bananas, dates, etc.  eating anything over the equivalent of 1/3 of an avocado per day is frowned upon. 

So we aren't encouraging any particular diet regime here at Raw Food Rehab, but I feel that less than 1,200 calories per day isn't healthy for anyone.

I do think the 811 people count calories, I hear them talk about it a lot.

Does anyone count calories while on a raw food diet? I've been journaling my food and some days find it hard to eat over 1200 cals. I'm doing the 80/10/10 approach. I might not be eating enough fat.

Hi Jennifer -

I am no longer part of the leadership team at Cleanse America, but I think their next cleanse will begin around the first of the year. When Paul lets me know I will certainly be announcing to all of our RFR members!
