Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

We can all remember (or maybe I am dating myself here!) the show with Robin Leach, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." People with unlimited wealth jet-setting all over the world in high forms of luxury that seemed outrageous. Amazing things they do, spending their time and money on things I cannot even begin to grasp. It wowed me and still does.

As ones who have the Lifestyle of the Raw and Healthy, we can walk in unlimited health and energy and vitality. And because of this, we "raise our norm of living." What may seem outrageous to those around us who are not doing what we are doing...is the norm for us. We spend our time and money doing things that promote this healthy lifestyle.

We fill our shopping carts with food filled with LIFE. We choose the BEST fuel for our bodies, minds and spirits. We have a light in our step and in our eyes...people take notice. Some of them see the results in us and jump on in with us...Others cannot begin to grasp how and why we do what we do. But that doesn't stop us. Our priorities are set in place. We now walk to the beat of a different drummer. Our lives no longer are defined as they once were.

ARE YOU PASSIONATELY EMBRACING THE LIFESTYLE OF THE RAW AND HEALTHY?

The definition of the word "passionately" is: having, compelled by, or ruled by intense emotion or strong feeling.

What exactly is the LIFESTYLE of the Raw and Healthy? What does it look like?

The definition of the word "lifestyle" is: the habits, attitudes, tastes, moral standards, economic level, etc., that together constitute the mode of living of an individual or group.

What are the habits of the Raw and Healthy?
What are the attitudes of the Raw and Healthy?
What are the tastes of the Raw and Healthy?

What are the CHOICES of the Raw and Healthy?
What is the MIND-SET of the Raw and Healthy?

Ponder this...What are your "Raw Routines"

How is your lifestyle changing?
How are your habits changing?
How are your attitudes changing?
How are your tastes changing?
How are your choices changing?
How is your mind-set changing?

Wheatgrass Wishes,

and Green Smoothie Dreams,

Hugggggggggs,
Susan :)

PS...I hear some saying that they have fallen off the wagon...

Just wanted to let you know...
that we do not have a "wagon" here at the Raw Food Rehab Mansion!

We ride around "in style" ...we have a limousine....
and I can't find a great reason to leave THIS limo!
Besides, Charles, our RFR Limo Driver has secured and locked the doors!! : )

Cute! :D I'm in!
live, healthy and raw. live like the rich and famous. do it all. wanted to add a photo of me and robin leach, but couldn't figure out how to do it. he is a good friend of mine and a terrific person. not raw, but still terrific. people say its expensive to eat organic food. i think drugs the doctor gives you are expensive and so are doctor appointments. i'll take organic, and raw any day over drugs. this is the only body i was given, its not returnable, you can't use it and return it...(ok, maybe you can, but then the soul is out of it) i'm just saying to treat it like someone and something you love. give it the best, say nice things about it, show it you care and it will give you back so much. i've used mine for 71 years and it acts like its 20. what more can you ask of it. i like the limo and i like the mansion, and i love raw food.
Nice post Susan :)

Even when we happen to get the flu, like I have, even the downtime is really spent partly just detoxing with light juices, teas, salads and soups.

I'm among the older therapists at work and also at the top of production list. So, I really think eating lightly, eating raw foods and working out bring me extra energy and keep me out of pain.

I hope those who feel they've "fallen off" a wagon of some sort realize that you can begin today all over again at any time. ;)

I'm still recovering but plan to get my weight in by tomorrow night and catch up wth people hopefully sometime over the next week and a half.

love you!!!
cindy

ps just made the red pepper bisque soup from the Raw for the Holidays uncook book and boy was it ever what I've been craving! I've been wanting Campbell's Tomato soup and this was sooooo much better but totally filled that craving! Yum!
Here is a great pic of Mimi and Robin!

haha thanks!! he's picking me up so I can get back in within the next minute...I've missed you guys terribly.
Susan - this is awesome! LOVE your posts!!!
This is so awesome Susan. *kisses* (those uppety kisses diva's give)
Thanks for the shot of encouragement and inspiration! I've been a little preoccupied with family matters and traveling, but starting next week I should be able to re-dedicate myself to the cause!
Very nice ! Love, love it.
Since I am not that rich and certainly not famous, well I will go back to work tomorrow. Still, I'm happy because I discovered a very very nice place and some wonderful people.

Keep up the great spirit and receive bunches of love !
So what do I eat? Click HERE! : )
This was a great message to read this morning. Everything was so well said, thank you, Susan. As I'm just learning/discovering the different parts of this site, it's such a treat to learn something new.

I love how you made me feel surrounded by goodness and support and vitality! What a wonderful feeling to know I have a serene place to go, full of life and health. And how you said there is no wagon to fall off... that really hit home. I am doing my best with mistakes along the way, and it's so comforting to know I remain in the group of supportive, healthy people.

Finding this site has been a real blessing. Kudos to the way it's managed and to everyone who contributes to making this such a safe place to be one's self.
Susan, I ride around in a red radio flyer, and I think it's pretty stylish. ;)
