Real Food Rehab

No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!

I am just now getting ready to increase my intake of raw foods in my diet and it helps that the weather is changing now.   I have never been a calorie counter and am aware of some of the websites that do it for us, but can anyone suggest a book that will have both cooked and raw fruits and vegetables?  I saw one in the store the other day and it had quite a number of restaurant chains and brand name packaged foods.  I 'get it' now that we must increase our raw food consumption in order to meet our caloric needs.  I think this will help me with that.   I feel it would be easier if I had a book instead of using the internet.  After while, I wouldn't need to rely on the book, but will have a good idea.  Any suggestions would really be helpful.  Thank you.

Hi Donna - I think this is one of the most comprehensive books & certainly describes what you are looking for:

The Complete Book of Food Counts, 9th Edition: The Book That Counts It All

you can check it out in our Amazon store to see if it is what you are looking for. Wishing you much success on your journey towards more optimal health!

Hi Penni

I just checked it out on Amazon and  read many of the reviews.     This is exactly what I need.

Thank you so much for helping me with this, Penni.
