Just to stay in alignment with the Community Ground Rules - here's the actual video that was added as a link in a previous comment by Anthony, for you Dawn-Michelle:
anyone know of some good core excercises while sitting... I have been clenching my butt and pulling my belly button in toward my spine.... any other ideas?
Sounds like you're really doing great, Dawn-Michelle! We will definitely be here to cheer you on to reaching your goal - most of us are working on something similar, so you're in good company!
I've started doing cardio after recovering from another back injury. I've been able to start Nia and Yoga in the last 15 days... getting the weight off is my number one priority right now... i joined this group for encouragement and if i have questions about what i am doing. I am currently 195lbs. I've lost a total of 25 so far but i need to lose at least 50 more to be healthy.
At 102, Ray Clark stays fit with the help of Thom Hunter, his 70-year old fitness trainer."Ray's goal is to get the most of out of everyday... old age and Ray don't go in the same sentence. He's mature, and more experienced; he's not old." - Thom HunterSource: http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/102-year-old-man-gets-fit-with...
i met a new fitness level. 7 press-ups (with wall to balance)
Why does reshaping a midsection (especially lower abdomen) have to seem so stinking impossible after 2 cesareans? :-\ Gonna get there! Been back and forth with upper cervical care (corrections t0 alignment of vertabrae around the brain stem. Having to work around that as it demands letting those muscles rest post correction. Anyone know of any good ab workouts that would not stress the neck or deman twisting in it?
