Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

How would you like to win one of these fun spiralizing gadgets for your raw food kitchen?

The Joyce Chen Spiral Slicer (aka - Saladacco):

This Thursday I will be drawing the names of two lucky Raw Food Rehab members who will win one of the above spiral slicers.

To enter this week's drawing you must tell me which episode of it's a High Raw Life you liked the best and why. Tell me that in the comments below.  Your name will be put into both drawings, unless you tell me that you would prefer one slicer over the other.

Good Luck and be sure to tune in this Thursday to see if you are a winner!

I really like watching her sing her theme song. She is very entertaining. I like her raw fried rice recipe. When my wife Rachelle made it for my family I loved it and was in shock that it wasn't real rice! We'll probably be eating it again tomorrow, it's that good!
Like a lot of peeps, I love all of Michelle's videos but my favorite is the 'not fried rice' because it shows several of the gifts that Michelle brings to this community(1) she shows that living the high raw life can be quick, easy and fun, (2) she involves her daughter/family, (3) she mentions that even her cauliflower-hating hubby tried it, (4) she suggests alternatives to equipment like using a grater instead of food processor, (5) shows you can prep early so you have food to reach for when you're starving (6) shares ideas for other meals which gives me ideas to play with -- she is fun to watch and inspiring! Thank you Michelle for the videos/info/sharing/inspiration and Penni for all your hardwork, inspiration and for creating this awesome community. Michelle, if you put out a raw food prep dvd - I'd buy it :)
I loved episode 17 Paige's Chai Latte and Sweet Treat. It was so sweet when Zoe played with Michelle's necklace!. I know I should have been paying attention to the food prep, but watching Zoe help with her Mom made me remember how my son would play with my shirt and hair at about that same age. Priceless! Ok, so I loved the the chocolate cracker treat and Chai as well, but Zoe stole the show.

I would love to win the Saladacco!
I can't decide which of Michelle's videos I like best. They all are very doable and sound good. I do plan to try the unfried rice and the hot ruby red one of these days. I have been watching them for awhile now. Thanks for the fun drawings here Penni!!!
Hoping I made it in just under the wire, if not, oh well... it's fun participating.

Episode 1 & 9: Corn Tortillas & Raw Tacos

My Family Loves Tacos!!! I want to transition away from the soy meat with cooked taco shells and love seeing what others are doing. Plan on getting a dehydrator soon and first thing I want to try are Michelle's raw corn tortillas. Quintessence in NYC had really yummy raw tacos too (see picture). Wish I could get hold of their recipe, especially their sauces... Yum!!!

SO MANY beautiful recipes!!! Hard to choose...
Have spent the last hour watching her and time just FLEW! Since I've gone raw only recently, there is so much useful information in those videos and she's really lovely to watch. Gunna stay tuned for sure!
If I have to choose, it'll be episode 10 Hummus No Beaner, because I have been looking for a raw hummus recipe. Also been researching dehydrators, trying to determine whether I need one or not, but those flax cracker convinced me!! Do they look YUM!
And yes, I would really LOVE to have a spiralizer. A bit tired of grating by now... !
Thanks for posting the links and for the oportunity of winning a Spiralizer.
Episode 1 for the corn tortillas and episode 9 because I love Mexican food!!
#3 salad bar-
i loved the way you can prep once for days worth of meals.
also that the non raw part of the family can swamp over into the good food part of the meal easily. :)
if i perchance win- the spirooli is my choice xo
