All sounds good.I have yet to order the 2 books. What am I waiting for?
woo hoo! love all the suggestions - can't wait to get started :)
Here's my latest feel good cleansing smoothie...

I found some nice seedless watermelons at Walmart. I cubed it and placed in freezer. In my vitamix I put one peeled orange, 1/4 of frozen watermelon, handful of frozen strawberries, and 1/4 cup of cranberries or fresh cranberry juice. It comes out almost like a sorbet...and makes enough for two.

I know this sounds like a summer drink but I have found it so refreshing and cleansing after the heavy foods of the holidays.

Awesome! : )
I had a great Raw Christmas!

How much lemon in the water and what is the purpose? The dentist told me lemon water was bad for our teeth. Perhaps for the short term it won't be an issue.
Hi Katy,
You don't put any sweetener in this? Man! It sounds great and I want to sign it...

Sounds perfect! I am ready!

I did get adventurous and made the pumpkin pie Earth Mother has on "In the Raw." It was so good. Everybody loved it! I came home with nothin! Also, my wonderful daughter got me a raw food cookbook for Christmas. I was so surprised and pleased she supports me in this! It was a great Christmas. PS: no drama!
Lemons are a powerful cleanser, packed with vitamin C. Squeeze just a few slices of lemon into your first morning water, drinking before you brush your teeth. Lemon is a wonderful tonic for the liver, it helps to produce bile. We all need to be sure that we eliminate on a regular basis. By adding lemon to your water you are helping your body eliminate waste. The more waste we get out of our colons the better we feel. Many reputable health educators believe that the colon is the first place where disease starts so we want to be sure to cleanse our colons.
