Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Since Wednesday, I've been sequestered away with Russell James, his delightful girlfriend and the film crew for Average Joe on the Raw working on the documentary and Russell's innovative new educational instructional material. These are just a few of the little video clips I've managed to get along the way:

Russell James starting off Day One off with a team building power meeting:

Behind the scenes with Seth Hayhurst (Average Joe on the Raw) as he creates a personal raw lasagna after hands on instruction by The Raw Food Chef, Russell James.

Here is Average Joe opening a coconut, which can be tough, but he shows that when you can channel the spirit of the ninja or ancient samurai, it gets a tad easier. The treat that awaits you inside the nut of coco is a delight worth crack-a-lackin:

Today is our final day of filming together, so hopefully I can capture another clip or two to share with you! Wishing you an amazing weekend!!

xoxo - Penni

PS - Last night we were up until after midnight perfecting Russell's most amazing recipe EVER.  Look at this:

This is the closest thing to "real bread" that I have ever tasted in the raw world. It had a springiness to it, which is what made it so amazing. We slowly dehydrated it at around 105 degrees F to maintain all the enzymes & nutrition. On top is an aged raw, vegan mozzarella cheese & these are just two of the innovative recipes that Russell has been perfecting for his new educational series that will be released in a couple of months. You KNOW that I will keep you all posted just as soon as I can share more specifics!  Just know that a very amazing, delicious and nutritious totally raw bread officially exists and is in your future!

Looks like you are having fun!!!
I enjoyed watching this and I can't wait to try the new bread and cheese...I have not liked any other bread recipe that I have tried..Linda B
Gotta love it....That definitely looks like some darn good Rawkin bread....almost looks like a pumpernickel bread!  Hope your having a blast and look forward to the documentary!  I just had me some coconut water as well...YUM...it was perfect and then on the side...my first ever cherimoya...that I had to wait a couple days to ripen but it was delicious and worth the wait! I just called the store and asked them to hold me some as this is the first time I have ever seen them and we want more!  Gotta go but keep laughing and smiling and having fun!  XO
The bread does look amazing!
Wow.  How easily he opened that coconut.  I'm inspired to give it another try.
where is the recipe for the bread?

Penni, it looks like you have been having a great time with the guys! I look forward to the movie coming out.

Peace & Blessings

Love the smile these videos put on my face. How "cleaver" of you all : ) Love you guys totally.
Enjoyed a glimpse into your days.  Liked that lasagna....
wow, that bread looks awesome!!!  you mentioned in the video that you are minimizing nuts, does that also mean seeds, such as hemp, chia, flax and sunflower?
OMG I want that bread recipe! Let Russell know we are anxiously awaiting it.

That bread looks delectable, and are we going to be able to the get the recipe for it?
