Infowitch (Mark), has a truly amazing story of transformation....Check it out:
RFR: Were you eating much raw food before joining RFR?
Mark: raw what? surely u jest. i was a SAD through, 'n through.
RFR: Have you maintained a high level of raw foods in your diet since join Rawk Star Lockdown on July 11th?
Mark: virtually 99.9%
RFR: Did you incorporate any body movement into your Vault experience?
Mark: in general i simply have more energy and move more naturally. I'm stepping up to an exercise regime. Got kettlebells recently and have been dabbling with them daily. Today my chiropractor showed me an amazing squat which I'll be incorporating. need to tighten up that skinny butt I now have =D
RFR: So you lost weight?
Mark: Yes. 23 lbs. during this initiative left my planet. All body locations shrunk 1-2 more inches. i'm very pleased to say that i'm within 5 lbs. of my personal weight goal. A total of 95 lbs. have gone since I changed my lifestyle in February of this year.
RFR: Along with weight loss, have you noticed any changes on an emotional or mental level?
Mark: Oh yes, this has probably been one of the most level and even keel times for me. very few mood swings. My energy is constantly increasing and I feel sharper mentally.
RFR: Are others noticing your transformation?
Mark: Most definitely....I still marvel at it all myself!
RFR: How has the weekly accountability and/or the online community played into this for you?
Mark: I love seeing what other's are doing or experiencing. It's always good to have information to draw from. And the weigh in is a good check to see what adjustments might be needed.
RFR: This way of eating has clearly had a huge impact on your weight and overall health. What are your plans moving forward?
Mark: This way of eating appears to be a real lifestyle change. I've had basically no animals products since March. I don't desire them, either.
RFR: Anything else you'd be willing to share with us about your journey?
Mark: My life is sooo different from earlier this year. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, a true sense of total well-being is now the order of the day. While food choices remain a significant component, its only a component. I no longer think of 'food' constantly, I view it now as my fuel. I absolutely delight in farmer's markets, from the people, to the produce. I take utter joy in the brilliant selection of produce, and nature's bounty that it is designed to fuel us. It's wonderful that they have their own textures and tastes to tantalize us.
Now, peeps, this is from someone who would drool over a juicy steak, and hand cut fries =0 'raw' was nowhere in my scope - not one iota. @ 6'5" tall 'n well over 300 lbs. then, the thought of veggies was rather a foreign concept.
I wound up on the radio, twice, along w/other RFR's discussing our journeys and have continued to share that experience @ local meetups with folks. I did a 'day of raw' journey for a dozen friends and they want more, as well as others now wanting to hear, too. Even at work, folks are now asking my advice, or sharing with me their own journeys. It's been an awesome ride.....all good stuff.
