Three Easy Tips on How to Make Raw Compost:

1) Eat Organic Produce and Collect the Scraps

2) Create a space in your backyard where you can throw the scraps. Mix these scraps in with your soil. Perhaps add organic materials such as newspapers, carbon, and even nitrogen to help the matter break down more quickly. If it's truly fresh and turned, smell will not be of issue.

3) Rotate your soil with a shovel about once a week, then wait for the matter to decompose. After about 4-6 weeks, the fruit and vegetable matter becomes rich soil. Some of the seeds composted may even grow new matter! From life springs new life!

Never feel badly again about throwing away food because you can give it back to the earth to grow more abundance! Learn to compost and create rich soil for our planet. From rich soil grows nutrient dense food! This food fuels our bodies and creates a richer, more beautiful earth!

Thanks SO much Penni for sharing! I really hope that everyone sees how important that composting becomes. When we have rich soil, our bodies have even richer foods! We always want to eat the foods that are highest in mineral and vitamin content. Rich soil is not only good for our planet, but also our bodies, minds, souls, and spirits!

Hugs and love to you all!

Kristina

GREAT video ... GREAT company!

Great video. I've been composting for a few years now. Love I how it nourishes my garden. Thanks for sharing, love the jump into the pile!

so cute! I am a compost lover too :-)  nothin' like digging in the rich goodness of home made compost. I always feel like I'm making a gift for Mother Nature to enjoy. I use the 'Earth Machine' composter since I don't have any land around me - but I sure do generate a 'ton' of fruit and veggie scraps. thanks for the fun video.

Thanks you guys! It definitely gives meaning to the phrase "Getting Dirty" lol... still itching my bum after the pineapple burn lol! Pretty sure I got compost in places I never would have imagined.

Thanks for the thought Kristina- composting is really important knowledge to share

- nothing comes from nothing or everything comes from something!

Enjoyed the fruit Olympics too!

LOL Fruit Olympics! NOW that's FUNNY! :)

Excellent video on such an important topic! We're composting a lot here, but this is an awesome scale! TY Kristina!
