Well, Penni, I have been preparing this week for my very first colonoscopy this Friday, February 11th. Doesn't that sound just wonderful???
I like how you have motivational means of uniting the members on your Raw Food Rehab website. I have been enjoying my time here and hope to continue to integrate it into my daily life. There have been a few things about how the mechanics web page is set up to receive comments that is odd, but it still works. You and Susan are awesome! Keep up the good work!!

Congratulations to the winner.
I am not as motivated as I would like to have been to do the 28 day cleanse...but am thinking about asking anyone if they would like to do some 3, 7 or 14 day cleanses down the way..after I get used to changing jobs, here ...working as a sub K-12 teacher at schools with very little raw food, just canned veggies smothered in cheese, so that was a no today...and canned fruit..so I opted for that and a very small baggie of cut veggies with dip...no to the dip.(don't you think we, in this supposedly forward looking country should feed our kids something better then prison food?..but anyway)..Work started at 7:3o, today..so I couldn't get anything else together...but tomorrow school starts a half hour later at the younger grades, so I should be able to get something together tomorrow to fill me up that is fresh for lunch tomorrow.
Thank you for your upbeat video, Penni..I am amazed at the extent of your snowfall down there./...

We had lots of snow so far this year in New York, but we are getting a little break this week. It is a little warmer today. I am trying my best to drink a lot of juice in the morning as well as water throughout the day. I cheated a little by having a cup of coffee to keep warm, but I did have a strawberry chia pudding for a small meal today. I am still drinking water until bed time. I do feel more energy today because of the juicing and lots of veggies and salads I ate last night too.
All the best,
Chana
Congrats to our winner! : )
Everyone's a winner with that rawsome deal that Philip is giving everyone! : )

It sounds like you are already working with a holistic health care professional. We are not licensed to give medical advise here, which I know you understand. I do encourage you to continue to educate yourself and to follow your gut level instinct regarding diet and exercise. We are all unique in our physiology, body chemistry, genetics and lifestyle. I personally believe that a plant based diet offers the most usable & digestible form of amino acids/protein available, but you must actually eat those foods that contain that protein - lots of dark leafy greens, spirulina, hemp seeds, etc. If you are needing to gain weight (especially if you are very active), you have to insure that your calorie count is adequate, which means you need to get plenty of dense fruits and high quality fats to support your lifestyle.

For some reason, I can't play the video. We've had very slow internet speeds since the blizzard. I guess too slow to load the video. I can't play the video at youtube either. Is there any way I can still get the deal on the book?
It sounds like I'm in a different position than many people here. I need to NOT lose weight. When attempting to be vegetarian in the past, I lose weight and muscle mass. Any tips? My ND has told me that not all people can be healthy vegetarians or vegans.
Thank you!
