Happy Saturday Raw Food Rehabbers! Today we kick off our 1st 11 Week Total Health & Weight Loss Initiative for 2010! If you are able to see my video and are reading these words, you are signed up and part of our Initiative!

Over the next 11 weeks we'll be exploring different aspects of health, healing and finding balance in your weight by incorporating more raw and living foods into your existing diet. There is not set schedule or diet plan to follow, just suggestions and guidelines that you can use to help you make changes that will last.

If you are interested in being part of our Vault experience, you will need to have a full length, fully clothed photograph, your beginning weight and measurements ready to go. Go to the Vault & request to join this room. I will welcome new Vaultlings on Mondays only and you will have 48 hours to post your statistics to remain eligible. You will then have to log in and post your weight each weekend. This higher level of accountability and group support is extremely helpful for many people. If you don't comply with the Vault requirements, you will be suspended and cannot be reinstated until our next Initiative in April.

So I hope you are off to a strong start today! I hope you are formulating your game plan and that you have some do-able goals in mind for the next 11 weeks. Enjoy your weekend Penni!
Happy to start 2010 with all of you. I'm looking forward to putting into practice so many of the things I learned in the last initiative. If we can make it through the holidays, we can make it through anything! And yes, learning to make better choices. That's what it's all about. That and relationship. :) I love this place!

This is the first time I've done any sort of group thing like this -- I generally do most things on my own -- and it was interesting to me at the end when you said that community is important, and how difficult if not impossible it is to do this alone. So I am looking forward to seeing what a difference being part of a group weigh-in and accountability type thing is going to make!!! (does this mean I get to blame the group if I don't see the weight loss hahahaha)

Thanks for sending the initiative to me, I needed a little kick start and this seems very comfortable and doable. I think I will start on my own and prepare for the April initiative and see about joining the vault at that time. Thanks for the support and guidance

Okay, Thanks Penni! I have printed out on food lists and guidelines. These look like I have been through pretty much in my past. I have ordered new book "Raw Food Cleanse". I do look forward to get this book.

I'm still going strong since three days after Christmas. Have actually dropped 5.5lbs for a total weight loss of 28lbs since I joined the last week in Oct! I'm really excited about the initiative. I plan to refine my food plan, add additional walking and exercise and to really delve into my spiritual self. I also plan to connect with friends, old and new, and most especially my family. Thanks for all your support Penni. It's really happening!
